Hello, my name is Xin Hui and I am a writer.

I spent a good part of my years scripting romantic poems, letters of apology and anti-establishment songs, until my first published word in 2003 officially made me a journalist.

I slept very little, wrote a lot and smoked menthol lights.

And then, I became a copywriter at MediaCorp Singapore. As a copywriter, I picked up swearing and quit smoking. I also picked up good writing habits, a few awards, a respect for deadlines and, most valuable of all, a business understanding that good writing is creating content that supports the bottom-line.

Today, I am a creative writer, a journalist, copywriter, and a web writer who has scripted and sugar-quoted
